Leicester Square, in the heart of London, is best known for its movie premieres when different celebrities walk the red carpet to promote their latest films.
There is always people walking by, it doesn't matter if you go there in the afternoon or at dawn, the only difference is in the shoes. The moon usually carries the loud rhythm of high heels.
A largely touristic crowd also enjoys the portrait paintings, an habitual feature in different cities across Europe.
But most people are unaware of William Shakespeare's statue, looking serenely to the frenetic movement of passers-by, pointing out "There is no darkeness but ignorance."
That's why I love London, you think you know the city but somehow it manages to surprise you with previously unnoticed details, stimulating your mind.
And then off I go to indulge in an afternoon tea at the lovely Yauatcha in Soho. It's not as expensive as going for diner, you can enjoy the beautifully designed surroundings and it's absolutely delicious!
PS
I couldn't help but add a picture of a stylish londoner... Just as the woman behind the most well-dressed Hollywood stars says: "be glamorous. Every day." If you haven't guessed yet, I'm talking about Rachel Zoe.
