For a day of pure indulgence, Elemis Spa has couples rituals, for instance Rasul is a traditional Arabian Cleansing ritual nestled within a striking Moorish suite with rich ochre coloured walls. It ends with a warm tropical rain shower to wash away every last drop of tension in your bodies.
This is also an ideal occasion to feel special and spend a bit more on a delicious meal, if you like Asian food, I recommend Hakkasan where each mouthful is pure delight.

London has a lot to offer to make your Valentine's a night to remember. The Royal Opera House is showing the classic Le Nozze di Figaro but if you prefer watching the body move in an extraordinary way surrounded by a fantasy scenario, go to the Royal Albert Hall for the return of Totem by Cirque du Soleil.
Otherwise, you can just listen to romantic music and be carried away by beautiful sounds. The Barbican is presenting Valentine's Day Classics, covering Tchaikovsky, Strauss and Ravel amongst others.

But what to wear? Do you want to feel sexy, feminine and confident? I've chosen the most suitable dresses to go out for dinner and for an evening of entertainment in the city. Lanvin is my favourite but other designers have also great options to offer.

From the high street, Ted Baker and Miguel Palacio for Hoss have beautiful dresses which are also appropriate for this occasion. I'll write soon about shoes and lingerie, they are the centre piece of the whole evening!

If you're single, think about all the money you're saving and put it aside for a fantastic summer holiday. Either invite your single friends for a chilled out dinner at home or get a delicious Haagen-Dazs ice cream to eat while you watch a comedy (not romantic) such as the Hangover or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

As a tightrope walker you need to maintain your balance and avoid falling into fear or hope, as someone said "in relationships you don't have much choice, when it comes, it comes. The important thing is not to have expectations and if the relationship doesn't happen you shouldn't be too hard on yourself."

"If you are a couple, your attitude should be as someone who has checked in to a hotel for a few days together, soon the guests are going to go away, separate..."
Once I met a woman who tried to kill herself after 50 years of marriage because she couldn't bear the thought of being left alone. Nothing lasts forever... So we should make the most of whatever situation we find ourselves in.
